Site Operations Manager – Ft Huachuca AZ – TARS

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a skilled Site Operations Manager to join our growing team! This ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of TARS site operations, personnel and resources to ensure performance of all tasks are completed successfully and to appropriate standard. The ideal candidate will be tasked with responsibility for day-to-day site operations and maintenance activities ensuring all efforts are in compliance with management objectives, contract requirements, and program operational instructions and Peraton policies and procedures.

Additional Work Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain adequate around-the-clock manning in accordance with (IAW) established requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment for all assigned personnel. Ensure all personnel are properly trained and certified to safely perform their duties. Make on-the-spot decisions when necessary for safe and reliable operations.
  • Manage a 24-person supervisory, technical and administrative support team. Ensure qualifications and requirements as prescribed for all personnel are maintained and up to date.
  • Provide official site interface with customer and ensure compliance with all mission and customer requirements.
  • Ensure the timely requisition of parts, supplies and equipment as related to logistics to perform mission operations.
  • Monitor quality at all levels within the site and develop procedures and processes to take appropriate action to identify and correct any deficiencies.
  • Achieve Flight Director qualification within 1 year of employment and maintain currency through proficiency evaluations as required.
  • Support timely submission of assigned contract deliverables, associated reports, and related projects as requested by PMO.
  • Oversee activities related to facility and engineering maintenance task to ensure all properties are maintained IAW provided directives.
  • Must be comfortable working in interior and exterior work environments, sometimes in inclement weather. Maybe required to travel for extended periods as needed.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
  • Bachelors degree and 10-12 years’ experience or Masters’ degree and 8-10 years’ experience or Associates degree and 12 years relevant experience or high school diploma/equivalent with 14 years relevant experience
  • Currently have or are able to obtain Flight Director certification within one year of assuming position.
  • Willing and able to work in exterior and interior work environments, sometimes in inclement weather.
  • Able to work in high-lift equipment baskets at elevations up to 150 feet.
  • Willing and able to work various work shifts as required.
  • Understand, speak, read and write English fluently.
  • Possess a valid U.S. Driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must have five or more years of TARS operating experience
  • Remote site operations experience
  • Able to travel in support of Program Management tasking when required.
  • Possess supervisory work experience.
  • Have advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Project).
  • Have outstanding organizational skills, as well as excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to use mechanical, automotive and tool equipment
  • Can perform the following physical activities: walking, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, crawling, reaching, lifting (up to 50 lbs), sitting, and squatting. Work may require walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time in a confined space.
  • Can use the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required in certain areas. PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published company work rules.

Range for Posting

Salary Minimum: $72,500
Salary Mid: $145,000
Salary Maximum: $181,300
