About the Role

Our Operations teams work where Uber’s digital technology meets the real world. – Work with regional partners and local teams to identify and prioritize what can be fully or partially automated, through a lens of saving time and money for the business
– Strong coordination with the other regions (EMEA, LATAM, APAC) on automation efforts and ability to combine and or push to a global level (either through productization, or globally run process)
– Measure impact on automation initiatives to show value and impact on headcount and/or spend efficiency
– Build trust (and clear reporting) with local teams on processes that have been automated that they are working and driving value
– Maintain all previous work that has been built and ensuring timely updates when things break

Basic Qualifications

– A minimum of 2 years of robust work experience in a startup, strategy, operations, or analytics
– Proficiency in SQL and Python

Preferred Qualifications

– Scripting / Coding experience in Python (or strong shown ability to learn fast)

– Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment while maintaining flexibility working across teams
– Ability to clearly explain your work and to participate in constructive debate
– Tight-knit partnership and Partner leadership skills – building deep, trust based relationships with territory and cross functional teams
