Data & Business Intelligence Associate Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly pay: $55-$70/hr. (Pay varies based on candidate’s location and experience)
- Worksite: Leading professional development and networking (Mountain View, CA 94043, Hybrid for local candidates, Open to remote for non-local candidates)
- W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program
- 40 hours/week, 12 Month Assignment
Data & Business Intelligence Associate Responsibilities:
- Understand the business. Track operational performance, and provide insights and recommendations.
- Own analytical projects. Support company-wide programs through ownership of analytical projects.
- Build efficient and scalable ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the company’s data warehouse. Able to write ad-hoc data pipelines.
- Performance Optimization. Continuously improve data processing and analysis efficiency. Identify and implement optimizations to enhance query performance, reduce processing time, and increase overall productivity.
- Build dashboards and automated reports, working proficiently with data visualization and querying/analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL, Python)
- Own data tables, and work with stakeholders to ensure available data is accurate, consistent, and timely.
- Own technical implementations and documentation associated with datasets and strive for 100% accuracy.
Data & Business Intelligence Associate Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience working with data in a business setting, including data management, data architecture process execution, operations, reporting, or analytics.
- BS degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Experience in communicating effectively and presenting to Senior Executives.
- Experience with manipulating massive-scale structured and unstructured data.
- Experience creating and maintaining business-critical data warehouse tables using SQL.
- Experience with distributed data systems such as Hadoop and related technologies (Spark, Presto, Trino, Pig, Hive, etc.)
- Background in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala)
- Willing to learn & implement advanced analytics tools for optimization (e.g., Cloud hosting, Job automation, Artificial Intelligence techniques, Natural Language generation)
- Ability to leverage numbers and insights to influence & drive sound decision-making.
- Ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders.
