Position Summary
As a key member of the Systems Inspections and Contract Execution team, this position provides oversight and leadership for managing, planning, and executing the Pole Test and Treat Program (PTT). This includes day to day management of the program, work allocation, contract and contractor management, financial accountability, as well as monitoring and improving safety and quality in all areas of work. Additional programs may be assigned to meet business objectives.
This position offers a flexible work location within the PG&E service territory.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity.
A reasonable salary range is:
Bay Area Minimum: $102,000
Bay Area Maximum: $162,000
&/OR
California Minimum: $97,000
California Maximum: $154,000
This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all aspects of PTT, and others as assigned. This includes driving forward unit attainment, managing the financials, data requests, and all other aspects of the program as the SME for that work area.
- Manage PPT contracts and contractors. Act as LOB lead for RFPs and other Sourcing exercises.
- Manage and update the Project Management Plan (PMP) as needed.
- Lead and facilitate program level change control.
- Create new and complex data models to facilitate business decisions.
- Provides regular and ad-hoc reports to senior leadership.
- Develops and delivers presentation to leaders regarding the program progress toward goals.
- Plans and forecasts work to be completed as part of the program. Monitors and ensures closure/completion of program deliverables.
- Partner across the business to provide accurate unit and financial forecasts for the program and improve the accuracy of forecasting at the program management level across multiple stakeholders.
- Developing, measuring, and reporting on success of the program in a forward-facing manner to ensure sufficient time and direction to pivot major capital work focused across the system. Identifying and maintaining strong working relationships with all strategic programs and partners.
- Partnering with Regulatory and Compliance staff to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and support regulatory activities by supplying information for filings, data requests, and meeting with regulators. Identifying stakeholders and communicate within and outside of PG&E.
- Developing and/or implementing policies and procedures. Identifying new partners, technologies, and delivery channels. Manage major cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Coaches and mentors less experienced employees as well as peers across the PTT program management space. Solves unique and complex problems, anticipates issues and develops innovative solutions. Demonstrates strategic leadership with internal stakeholders to support Company goals.
- Leads development of program goals and metrics to meet company goals and objectives. Collaborates across organization to ensure alignment of goals to support program. Responsible for utilizing other departments and teams to meet program goals.
- Organizes and leads cross-utility project teams to influence utility, regulatory and/or industry decisions. Develops or provides significant input to PG&E leadership, other utilities with similar programs, industry and/or regulatory decision makers to influence marketplace and regulatory strategies impacting PG&E and its customers. Participate in emergency response activities as needed / assigned (PTT)

• Travel approximately 50% with occasional overnight stays.
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in the field of Industrial engineering or Construction.
Desired:
- 7 years working experience in the field of Industrial Engineering or Construction.
- Working Knowledge of Primavera P3/P5/P6 scheduling software, and Primavera UNIFIER or similar software
- Demonstrated abilities in cost accounting, contract administration, and project scheduling
- Demonstrated abilities in project inspection and quality control
- Demonstrated knowledge in Electric Transmission/Distribution Construction.
