Customer Care Agent

A Customer Care Agent supports customers by providing helpful information, answering questions, and responding to complaints. They’re the front line of support for clients and customers and they help ensure that customers are satisfied with products, services, and features. Customer service duties and responsibilities include answering phone calls and emails, responding to customer questions and complaints, and walking customers through basic troubleshooting or setup processes.

Highlights of your role

  • Learn to work in multiple systems efficiently: Siebel, Salesforce and Microsoft Office Programs
  • Learn to access information through Knowledge Management to find solutions for customer inquiries.
  • Articulates well in written and verbal communication, able to compose professionally written documents (letters and email) with accurate spelling and punctuation.
  • Learn to resolve issues by utilizing company resources.
  • Learn to negotiate “tailored solutions” that are within company parameters.
  • Learn to utilize information in Print Book Viewer to resolve cases.
  • Ability to build and utilize key relationships with other departments and functional areas.
  • Learn to consider liability for the company when making decisions.
  • Learn to properly research work to ensure accuracy.
  • Learn the outside service process to generate complete, accurate service cases.
  • Provide Product Warranty information to customers.
  • Attend all training sessions to learn features and benefits, parts and pieces to gain product knowledge for all windows and doors (current and obsolete).
  • Begin to manage smaller case files.
  • Salary range: $23 – $26 per hour

You’re a good fit if you have

  • Two-year degree or equal experience in other industries
  • Good learning orientation
  • Ability to talk and type
  • Good Computer skills
  • Good communication skills: verbal and written
  • Bilingual Preferred
