Details:
A Business Analyst job in Indianapolis, IN is currently available at Belcan. This person will be responsible for maintaining and analyzing business data for multiple for customer engineering projects. Other tasks may include project scheduling, planning, parts forecasting, risk management and coordination of technical activities aimed at assuring project accuracy and budget from conception to completion. Must be able to communicate effectively with engineers and management at all levels, utilizing verbal skills as well as written documents including plans, reports and presentations.
Principal Responsibilities:
* Support multiple client projects across their customer base of both internally and externally funded programs, both commercial and government.
* Provide regular business status and information to Program Directors, Program Managers, Control Account Managers, Finance Managers, and Commercial Managers.
* Collaboration with other customer teams, including engineering, testing, purchasing, production, and supply chain to maintain adherence to project schedules and milestones.
* Present presentations on project requirements and status to financial review boards.
* Prepare and submit business reports to customers as required contractually for individual project contacts.
* Input and maintain business data utilizing customer proprietary tools, SAP, Microsoft Project, EVMS forProject, and Empower.
* Assess and prepare recommendations for the continuing success of projects.
* Document project risks and mitigation plans as necessary.
* Monitor invoicing, funding, EVM, project schedule.
* Reconciliation of data across multiple databases and tools.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in a business or engineering field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
* Experience of 0-5 years as a Project Manager or Business Analyst. Experience in aerospace industry and/or with gas turbine engines is desired.
* Must have excellent English skills both oral and written
* Ability to learn quickly and work independently
* Proficient in full suite of MS Office products, including Project
* Candidate must be well organized and strong attention to detail
* Must have strong data analysis skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new processes and systems
* Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required/U.S. Citizenship only
The salary range for this role is $50k to $60kr; however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.

Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees receive 8.67 hours of PTO leave every month and 8 holidays throughout the calendar year.
