Corporate Pilot

Our IS-BAO Stage III, Part 91 flight department, is a close-knit group of exemplary professionals. We recognize that the right fit for this position will depend more on the individual’s ability to assimilate with our team, than on one’s flight hours and type ratings. Our pilots are all captain qualified. The pilot role is one of the company’s most visible positions and individuals must be comfortable interacting with senior level executives. The pilot must maintain an image that positively reflects the values of our company, both at home and abroad.

Job duties include but not limited to:
• Responsible for the operation, safety and security of the aircraft and the safety of all crew members, passengers, and cargo onboard.
• Safely operates assigned flights in accordance with the company’s flight operations manual, SOP’s and Safety Management System, as well as compliance with federal, state, local and foreign regulations.
• Maintains thorough systems and operational knowledge of assigned aircraft and a full understanding of navigational requirements and limitations for planned destinations and alternates.
• Aircraft preflight and postflight
• Perform arrival and departure preparation, ensuring that the aircraft is airworthy and properly equipped, including approving services for fuel, oil, supplies and maintenance.
• Flight planning and flight filing. Planning includes but not limited to weather, routes, aircraft performance, obstacle clearance, security issues, and passenger considerations.
• Maintaining manuals, charts and databases.
• Oversight and management of one of the following specialized pilot functions: Training, Safety Management System (SMS) and/or Aircraft Maintenance. Assigned function may be rotational and will conform with FAA, ICAO, IS-BAO and FOM procedures and requirements.
• Be an active participant in the flight department’s Safety Management System (SMS) and assist with leading safety meetings.
• Interface with passengers in a professional manner and assist with baggage handling.
• Maintains a high degree of ethics and integrity related to proprietary and confidential information.
• Administrative duties and galley stock.

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• 1st Class FAA Medical
• 5+ years corporate aviation experience or comparable military aviation experience
• 5,000+ hours of corporate flight time or 3,000+ hours of military time
• Current in all FAA requirements for pilot-in-command
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language
• US Citizen; Valid and current passport
• Must be type rated in the aircraft or obtain type rating within 90 days of hire
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early morning, late nights, weekends, holidays and be away from home for multiple nights. Must be able to work exceptionally well with others in a small team environment.

Preferred:
• College Degree
• NBAA Certified Aviation Manager (CAM)
• Experience with or knowledge of IS-BAO Standards
• Prior experience working in a Part 91 operations
• Citation XLS+ Type Rating
• Embraer Praetor 500 Type Rating

Annualized Salary Range: $140,000 – $227,500

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $140,000 – $175,000

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
