Overview
We are currently hiring our Facilities Coordinator. The Facilities Coordinator reports to the Director of Engineering & Maintenance and is primarily responsible for planning and scheduling preventative and reactive work orders performed by in-house Engineering and Building Trades staff. The Coordinator responsible for the day-to-day management and oversight of the Facility Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and ensuring efficient completion of work tasks. Additionally, the Facilities Coordinator assists with administrative functions such as purchasing, compliance documentation, maintenance contract management, and preparation for Arena Event-related tasks as required.
This role will pay a salary of $25 to $34.

Responsibilities
- Assist with supervision and direction of Engineering & Maintenance tasks during events.
- Conduct periodic quality assurance assessments of the facility on event and non-event days for directing repairs and maintenance functions.
- Support the overall upkeep and management of UBS Arena’s Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Fire Alarm, and Building Management systems to Class A standards.
- Actively and independently observe and direct work related to the Arena’s Front of House and Back of House cleanliness and aesthetics (cleaning, painting, repairs).
- Direct and oversee the company wide usage of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software to ensure proper tracking and completion of work orders in a timely manner.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) and maintenance schedule through CMMS for all venue operations, structure, and equipment.
- Responsible for oversight of external subcontractors and vendors through Work Order process to ensure the highest level of work quality is adhered to and verify completion of repairs & maintenance.
- Manage and assist with the execution of capital projects and other facility improvement projects
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve operational problems, complaints, and emergency repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist the Security Department with Fire & Life Safety coordination for impairments and procedures during Events.
- Assist the Director of Engineering and Chief Engineer with the day-to-day operation of the physical plant, including labor planning and execution of work.
- Assist with operating and capital budget projections and control.
- Support the Director of Engineering to work with scheduling and coordinating vendor service contract work and consulting services.
- With the Director of Engineering and Chief Engineer, ensure a safe working environment for all maintenance staff, including the development of a comprehensive workplace safety program, following all OSHA and local safety regulations.
- Assist with managing outside agencies such as fire, health, building departments to ensure all codes, licenses, and permits are up to date. Conduct periodic testing required assuring compliance with all government regulations. Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Comply with all UBS Arena policies and procedures. This includes safety, insurance, incident/accident reports, purchasing, HR, payroll, and accounting.
- Work with UBS Arena’s Event Services Department to ensure that each event’s building needs are met and staffed accordingly.
Qualifications
- Experience relating to repairs and maintenance and facility operations.
- Technical knowledge in areas of preventative maintenance and CMMS software.
- Strong interpersonal skills with customer service focus.
- Skills in supervision, budget management and project management.
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to lead, give clear and concise direction, and provide feedback to staff.
- Proficient experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) required
- Ability to work some nights and weekends to cover event needs as directed.
