Contributions Coordinator

Overview

Manages contributor database, including entering, verifying, and maintaining information in an accurate and timely manner; generates acknowledgements and routine reports; analyzes giving trends; provides assistance to the Assistant Controller with accounts payable, and verification process of gifts; serves as power user for Salesforce contributor database and online giving platform.

Compensation for this position is $23 – $25.88 / hour.

Responsibilities

The following essential functions are the basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Support Gift of Hope’s mission, vision, and values; adhere to its policies and procedures in carrying out the responsibilities of this position
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of contributor information in the Salesforce database
  • Serve as system administrator for online giving tool, developing pages for campaigns, making updates as needed
  • Process all incoming donations into the Salesforce database via the online giving tool
  • Ensure gift acknowledgement for all incoming contributions
  • Work with the Director, Finance to process weekly deposits
  • Compile monthly reports and reconcile with Assistant Controller
  • Analyze program data and past giving trends; provide program analysis results to leadership
  • Identify database process improvement opportunities, including developing new reports, updates to data fields, workflows, etc.
  • Maintain reporting schedules and pull reports, as requested
  • Support the annual reconciliation process
  • Assist with processing Accounts Payable as requested
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The following identifies the minimum education and training required to perform the essential functions of the job.

  • High school diploma/GED, some college preferred

The following indicates the minimum skills and experience required to perform the essential functions of the job.

  • 3-5 years’ Salesforce experience, including online giving platforms; other CRM platforms considered
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience processing Accounts Payable is a plus
  • Ability to function well with minimal supervision
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
  • Excellent reasoning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Must exhibit initiative and teamwork
  • Ability to retain confidential information
