Role Purpose
The Manager of Content Channel Strategy is a passionate storyteller who understands how powerful narratives fuel brand awareness and audience engagement. This person will create a strategy that identifies and defines the content channels that matter most to the BJC brand through audience knowledge backed by strong data. This manager will lead the way in developing processes that continuously assess content channels to inform content experiences, focusing on the right channels to grow and engage audiences. This person will partner closely with digital marketing, editorial, social media and marcomm teams to develop a comprehensive strategy that aligns SEO, direct-to-audience content such as emails and newsletters, and website content to impact customer journeys. This manager is audience-obsessed and will lead the work around personas and content mapping to channels that reach and impact the right audiences. This person will also develop content metrics that align with BJC’s objectives and continuously inform overall content strategy. The successful candidate is a proactive and energetic leader who champions the BJC brand, thoughtfully infusing brand messaging in ways that resonate with our audiences and liaises across the organization, influencing and partnering with others to do the same.
