Job Title: Construction Accounting Associate

Pay Rate: Up to $60,000 /year dependent on applicable experience

- Addison Group has a client who is looking for an Accounting Associate to join their growing team! This client is in the commercial construction industry and are located in Minneapolis. The ideal candidate will come with previous construction or contractor industry experience and have experience processing full cycle AP invoices, reconciling accounts, managing the vendor packet process, reviewing aging reports and more. The Accounting Associate is a full-time position with a compensation up to $60,000 annually depending on applicable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Daily tasks:
- Acquire invoices.
- Enter acquired invoices.
- Final review/Post to AP
- Answer Inquiries – Heavy vendor & internal communication
- Update COI’s (Continued Operations Instruments) – enter & scan.
- Weekly Tasks:
- Vendor statement review
- Vendor packet processing/follow ups.
- Field payroll processing – Mondays
- Manage/pay any Textura Draws
- Follow up on Invoices on Hold
- Follow up on overcommitted report.
- Monthly Tasks :
- Union Fringe payments (due on 10 th )
- Review AP Aging/Retainage report
- Review prebilled job list for last ck run of Mo.
- Open/Close Textura draws.
- TimberScan user maintenance.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience within Accounts Payable
- Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s)
