Compliance Administrator

North Central Texas Council of Governments is seeking a versatile Compliance Administrator to support Agency Compliance functions. Primary responsibilities:

  • Perform complex professional administrative work
  • Research and analyze governing laws and regulations
  • Assist in developing and revising Agency policies, procedures, and manuals
  • Understand federal and funding agency requirements as they apply to grant requirements for taking appropriate actions related to agency compliance
  • Assist Agency Equal Opportunity (EO)/Section 504 Officer with primary duties and responsibilities
  • Assist Agency Title VI Coordinator and departments with meeting compliance requirements
  • Assist Human Resources department with employment-related compliance
  • Oversee Agency insurance policies and inventory for property, liability, workers’ compensation, vehicle, cybersecurity, and others
  • Respond to property and liability claims and requests for certificates of coverage
  • Assist with managing projects and teams by developing timelines, scheduling meetings, preparing Agendas, and creating presentations and reports using SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and similar programs

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint

  • Build and maintain internal and external partnerships with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university OR Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved paralegal program.

Salary:

  • $52,500.00 – $63,000.00 or higher depending on qualifications.
  • FLSA: Exempt

Officing:

  • The position is required to be performed in-person at the Agency location with the option of a few days per week remote work, subject to change according to business necessity.
