Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a motivated Competitive Intelligence (CI) Analyst skilled in gathering and synthesizing data-driven, actionable competitive intelligence from various and disparate sources. Analyses developed must deliver analytical insight into our markets, customers, competition, and partners to drive profitable strategic growth initiatives, enhance targeted business development pursuits, and influence bid/no bid decisions. This role operates at the highest level of professional integrity and interfaces with all organizational Growth communities of practice, including Business Development, Capture Management, Competitive Intelligence, Price-to-Win, and Pricing Strategy teams.

The CI Analyst’s primary areas of focus and key responsibilities include:
- Market Analysis: Conduct both primary and secondary research and generate analysis to support development of market penetration strategies and business case rationale for strategic growth in niche markets. Customer Assessment: Provide insight into key customer budgets and spend profiles as well as market sizing/segmentation to support development of predictive models on market and industry evolution and trends as well as strategic business plans of action.
- Competitor Assessment: Develop actionable intelligence-with a focus on competitor strategies, differentiated solutions, qualifications, and long-range strategic plans-that directly supports competitive intelligence and price-to-win deliverables for both strategic and tactical opportunity pursuits.
- Research Analyses: Leverage industry knowledge, competitive benchmarking, commercial (subscription) databases, and internal competitive intelligence to prepare market, customer, and competitor assessments with business implications and actionable recommendations.
- Research Repository: Collaborate with corporate strategic development team to support the design, organization, development and safeguarding of an organizational knowledge management system for market and competitive intelligence data.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related disciplines
- 5+ years of experience with a minimum 3 years professional experience supporting competitive intelligence initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in research, synthesis, documentation, and visualization of actionable intelligence for executive decision-makers.
- Proficiency using market research tools and databases (e.g., DACIS, FPDS, GovWin IQ, USAspending) as well as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and oral/written communications skills
- Ability to acquire Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI security clearance.

Salary Range
Salary Minimum: $57,500
Salary Mid: $115,000
Salary Maximum: $143,800
The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Peraton provides a variety of benefits to employees.
