Amazon OpsTech Engineering is seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to scale the impact of our leadership team and Operational Excellence Programs. You will own setting the agenda and standards of our Weekly Operational Review, planning, coordinating, organizational communications, maintaining working backwards timings for key document creation, capturing outcomes, and leading retrospectives.
In this role, you will:
– Focus on details, planning, and communicating change to the organization
– Understand business priorities
– Proactively drive improvements to build capacity for the leadership team.
– Complete complex tasks quickly & autonomously
– React with urgency to situations that require quick turnaround
– Take effective action without having to know the whole picture
– Engage with leaders throughout the OTIE org and identify and partner with key owners to impact OE
– Establish KPI’s, increase customer satisfaction and Operational Excellence year over year.
– Partner with the Correction of Errors process team to reduce defects.
– Identify areas of improvement and drive initiatives to address failures in systems and/or process.
This role will require you to work successfully in a team environment; building effective, working relationships inside and outside of the group.

This role will include travel 4 times a year.
Key job responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this role will be to lead set the agenda, confirm presenters for each topic, and lead the Weekly Operational Review with leadership.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
– Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)
– 3+ Years Program Management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $87,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
