Communication & Marketing: Student Recruitment & Retention Coordinator

The Student Recruitment & Retention Coordinator is responsible for activities and services that recruit and retain students for Fort Wayne Community Schools.

What You Will Do:

  • Formulate strategic plans and implement activities for year-round student recruitment and retention including but not limited to district events, community events, summer campaigns and direct-to-family communication in order to meet district goals.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with community organizations to identify partnership opportunities that will connect FWCS with families looking for quality educational opportunities.
  • Identify and address segments of population who require comprehensive information about the school district.
  • Identify and address specific information needed by various audiences, develop and distribute to various audiences in Allen County.
  • Development measurement indicators, analyze results, draw conclusions and report trends to district staff and external parties as needed. Develop additional methods of outreach to address the findings.
  • Provide timely analysis of campaign and overall results to the Director of Communication and Marketing and the Marketing Manager.
  • Train and support Summer Team staff with information and techniques for successful family and community relationship building.

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, business, marketing or related field or
  • Relevant experience in lieu of degree
