What you’ll do:
- Serve as the CMS Certification Lead for the MME acting as the subject matter expert providing guidance to Project, Policy and System teams.
- Provide oversight for the documentation required by CMS
- Attend meeting with various stakeholders, including CMS, Policy and Project staff, and vendors as well as other State Agencies
- Prepare, manage, and track various plans and documents.
- Provide guidance on metrics development, monitor metrics for performance of outcomes and submit metrics to CMS through defined processes.
- Collaborate with state team SMEs, project solution vendors, policy and program staff, and other project vendors
- Assisting the project management team in monitoring and tracking project certification tasks including communicating issues and concerns to appropriate audiences timely.
- Stay informed and provide guidance on latest requirements outlined by CMS
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience leading teams in the CMS certification process, MITA, metric development and reporting, government software development lifecycle, CMS milestone reviews, and familiarity of the MES Testing Framework Guidance. (Substitutions may be allowed.)

Preferred QualificationsThe person in this position should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of Project Management tools, i.e. SharePoint, Github, Project Schedule.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of project management deliverables, trackers, and program metrics reporting.
- Experience interfacing with business owners, stakeholders, and contract vendors.
- Demonstrate flexibility, strong organizational skills, and discretion.
- Manage evidence and artifacts.
- Prepare team for CMS Milestone Reviews.
