Client Navigator- Financial Wellness Program (Bilingual)

What will you be doing in your role?

  • Provide financial coaching & support to clients to guide them in improving financial knowledge & resiliency.
  • Assist clients in setting goals & holding them accountable in their actions.
  • Provide clients tools and resource connection to obtain the financial goal.
  • Provide guidance, and coach clients to attain financial knowledge and improve financial resiliency.
  • Maintain compliance within agency and program standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of case activity.
  • Provide excellent service to all clients, using compassion and respect, while maintaining appropriate boundaries and ethics.
  • Follow program policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to positive program outcomes.
  • Attend recruitment events independently and as a department to engage clients.
  • Engage each client by maintaining regular contact to monitor and track progress in response to services.
  • Develop and implement an individualized service plan with the client to address identified needs within established periods.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress toward service plan goals and adjust, as necessary.
  • Use assessments with clients to monitor progress, including an increase in financial knowledge and skills according to established standards.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with internal and external partners and participate in internal and external collaborations.
  • Become familiar with community and online resources and provide clients with appropriate referrals as needed.
  • Document all communication and interactions with clients in an electronic database to ensure service delivery compliance.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, reports, and client file reviews to ensure compliance with agency quality assurance standards.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and use sound, ethical judgement.
  • Thrive working with multiple worksite locations and having variety in your duties.
  • Use coaching techniques that promote “client choice” in setting goals and identifying action steps necessary for the client’s success.

Are you the newest Bilingual Client Navigator?

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in social work, Education, or related field.
  • Knowledge and training in financial wellness and resiliency is a plus.
  • At least 1 year of previous case management experience required.
  • Excellent people skills and experience communicating with a diverse population.
  • Bilingual in Spanish required.
  • Must have reliable transportation, a current Texas driver’s license, and evidence of auto liability insurance.

  • Full-Time position with an hourly range of $20-$22, based on skills and experience.
