Typical Qualifications
High school diploma/equivalent and minimum 2 years custodial experience preferred. Must have knowledge of efficient cleaning techniques and practices, and ability to read labels for chemical content and proper usage levels. Requires ability to follow instructions and work effectively with minimal supervision, work closely with others as part of a team, and interact effectively with employees, contractors, vendors, and the general public. Requires a valid Texas driver?s license and driving record that meets and/or exceeds City standards. ?

Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time.?Must be able to lift, push and pull or carry up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, balance, stoop, twist, bend repeatedly, squat, crawl, run, grasp, move wrists repeatedly, reach overhead, use both hands, arms and legs, Must be able to speak, hear, touch, see at a distance and up close, and have finger dexterity, depth perception and color vision. May require the ability to exert light to moderately heavy physical effort with some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. May involve some lifting, carrying, and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate to moderately heavy weight (12-50 pounds). May require odor, texture and visual perception with discrimination. Must be performed with or without accommodations.
