Job Description:
A leading transportation authority located in Flushing, NY is looking for a Claims Administration Analyst for a 6 month contract (with the option to extend for a full-time resource)
Please note: This position is onsite
To be considered for this position, the client has advised that upon placement, consultants will be required to wear a mask under certain circumstances, show proof of full vaccination or submit on a weekly basis proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR diagnostic test.
Pay rate range: $27.00/hr – $32.00/hr
Requirements and skills
- Administrative Office Experience Required.
- Experience in of computer software including, MS Office
- Ability to communicate effectively with all staff levels
- Excellent written and communications skills.
Preferred Skills
- Claims Environment Preferred
Responsibilities
- Communicate with various departments/divisions firms/entities to collect and disseminate information relating to Claims-related issues.
- Ensure information is accurately received and communicated to the various departments.
- Provide services and resources as needed to support the vendor background checks of vendors for various agency projects.
- This position is responsible for answering and addressing claimant calls to the “First Report” claims hotline, entering data in the claims system, follow up with other departments for claims related information, communicate with staff regarding claims, open and sort mail, and perform other related tasks as required by management.
- Handle claims related administrative responsibilities
