The Role
We are looking for an ambitious, analytical, and collaborative channel marketing manager to lead marketing initiatives for our rapidly growing channel and partnerships team.
Owning all channel marketing initiatives for our entire solution suite, you will drive positioning and messaging for a variety of partnership opportunities, lead strategy on collateral, create one-sheeters, solution overviews, and decks, and own the channel portion of our website. Working with your team, you will create and execute campaigns that drive channel expansion and present new opportunities for efficiencies for our existing and future partners adn their clients.
Working collaboratively with our Product, Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams, you will also be making decisions that inform our channel development roadmap, and influence future channel strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the director of channel, marketing, and product, ensure that the channel marketing team develops and executes key marketing plans to support product, promotions, and pipeline goals
- Develop a marketing strategy for attracting new partners and creating sales enablement material for existing partners, working with the channel and channel marketing teams to drive execution
- Create and manage the channel program communications, including newsletters, emails and webinars
- Provide incentives for channel companies and individual sales reps, in the form of promotions and points-based award programs
- Ensure the organization has a full understanding of the unique channel marketing requirements for marketing programs, by participating in joint campaign development
- Administer channel communications infrastructure and manage the channel portion of the website, ensuring all partner assets are easily accessible
- Develop relationships with marketing leaders in key partner organizations to drive growth
- Create new resources and translate/localize existing collateral to enable partners to easily position and sell Plate IQ’s solution suite
- Design and launch unique scalable campaigns across our partner community to generate revenue and partner engagement
- Become an internal expert in finance, accounting, AP automation, expense/spend management and payments solutions
Ingredients
- Fantastic storytelling skills and ability to communicate and translate technical issues to business values
- Demonstrated experience creating channel marketing material, delivering webinars, and presenting to existing and future partners
- At least 2-3 years of channel marketing or digital marketing experience working in the B2B SaaS space to drive channel development
- Previous success crafting compelling positioning and marketing content for channel departments in SaaS start-ups; preferably in FinTech
- You are extremely self-motivated, believe all problems can be solved and desire to make an impact
- Experience working with channel and sales teams and the ability to eloquently articulate partnership benefits
- Proven success developing and executing go-to-market plans for SaaS or cloud services in FinTech
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, business acumen and proven ability to create senior management-level presentations
- 3+ years of experience in channel marketing
- 1+ years of experience leading and inspiring a team of channel and content marketers through empathy and trust
- Proficiency in WordPress, Salesforce, and Marketo a huge plus
