Performs cashiering and other counter service related duties supporting department operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Checks and verifies cash bank at the beginning of each shift.
  • Ensures cash register area is setup appropriately with register tape, charge sheets, scale, point-of-sale merchandise, etc.
  • Operates cash register in accordance with established procedures.
  • Utilizes knowledge of portions and item prices in the performance of duties.
  • Charges customers for food purchased and collects money due.
  • Reconciles cash drawer at the end of shift or as required. Ensures all monies is recorded and accounted for.
  • Sets up menu board with daily selections and item prices.
  • Stocks counter supplies throughout shift (utensils, condiments, snacks, etc.).
  • Addresses and resolves customer needs, as needed.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Job Qualification

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior related experience, preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing).

The salary range for this position is $21.40-$22.61/hour
