The City of Raleigh is proud to host teen summer camp at 6 different locations and is seeking enthusiastic and passionate individuals to join our camp family. This program leads teens through a broad curriculum of socially interactive experiences that includes arts and craft, field trips, indoor/outdoor recreational games, character & leadership, and other fun activities.
Camp Regional Managers are responsible for managing all logistical aspects for the Teen X-Treme Summer Camps including daily supervision and management of multiple camp sites.

Duties and Responsibilities
Provide a memorable, positive, and rewarding camp experience by scheduling, developing, coordinating, supervising and leading: passive and active games, art projects, theatrical activities, field trips, swimming, food experiences, special events and much more. Strategic planning for all aspects of summer camp programming. Support Program managers in summer camp program implementation. Provide support for summer camp staff while monitoring summer camp program operation daily and deliver supplies to sites.
Typical Qualifications
Camp Regional Managers must be 21 years old with reliable transportation. Experience supervising staff and working with teens ages 12-14 is a plus. All Camp Regional Managers must be available for training before camp begins. This job requires staff to actively participate with campers and staff in a recreational setting which includes the outdoors and occasionally lifting 25lbs or more.
Additional Information
All staff are expected to be role models for staff and campers, pay attention to details, adhere to City of Raleigh Policies and Procedures, attend trainings prior to the start of camp, and have reliable transportation. To succeed as a Camp Regional Manager you should be organized, creative, fun, flexible, aware of deadlines, a team player, a leader, upbeat, decisive, and responsible.
