Job Summary:
BDO Digital is looking for a creative copywriter to write clear and concise copy for ads, publications, and websites. Your words will inform and engage target audiences in various industries. This position will support researching, writing, and optimizing content for BDO Digital. The copywriter will collaborate and engage with stakeholders across the firm to deliver timely and buyer-centric content for strategic marketing programs and initiatives.
Job Duties:
General
- Collaborates with subject matter experts to understand priority buyer challenges and pain points to develop creative briefs, create content ideas and determine what type of content is needed
- Serves as an internal resource to write clear, compelling copy for various mediums such as advertising, blog posts, eBooks, infographics, newsletters, webpages, social media and more
- Conducts thorough research and interviews
- Writes clear and effective copy to drive engagement and showcase customer focus
- Interprets creative briefs and creative request forms to understand assignments
- Edits and meticulously proofreads copy
- Adjusts writing style to accommodate diverse industries and services
- Applies SEO principals to maximize copy’s reach
- Incorporates and enforces brand guidelines
- Sources images and other content
Knowledge Management and Research
- Ensures internal portals have the most complete and relevant content
- Supports internal knowledge programs
Marketing
- Stays abreast on what’s happening in digital, social, and content marketing trends
- Helps track and report on ROI from marketing programs and events

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, required
Experience:
- Two (2) or more years of writing, research, editing, and proofreading skills including writing portfolio, required
- Two (2) or more years of B2B copywriting in technology, business advisory, and/or professional services, preferred
- One (1) or more years working with search engine optimization, creative processes, and/or techniques for digital media, preferred
- Experience using productivity and collaboration tools, preferred
License/Certifications:
- N/A
Software:
- Two (2) or more years working with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and PowerPoint, required
- One (1) or more years working with Adobe Creative Suite and Content Operations platforms (GatherContent or Hubspot), preferred
Language:
- N/A

- Highly organized self-starter
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the Firm
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a customer service focus
- Able to successfully manage multiple projects while working independently or within a team environment
- Basic knowledge of the development, management, and execution of sales processes including lead generation, pipeline management, account planning, sales strategy, and development
Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
California Range: $63,000 – $78,000
Colorado Range: $63,000 – $78,000
New York City/ Valhalla Range: $63,000 – $78,000
Washington Range: $63,000 – $78,000
