Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Business Expansion Lead to help support our DoD Defense Enterprise Office Solutions (DEOS) program. This position is primarily remote.

You will work with Program Leadership and Government Customers for road map planning and the development of strategic development campaigns. You will oversee and manage the Program’s pipeline and corresponding capture activities. You will coordinate and collaborate with Senior Customers, GDIT Executives, the Program Manager, Program Team Leads, Contracts and Finance stakeholders. You will leverage your knowledge to develop customer and partner relationships, provide thought leadership, and lead the formation and execution of GDIT’s go-to-market plans. This position provides an outstanding opportunity to play an important role in a major DoD Cloud Program.

HOW A BUSINESS EXPANSION LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Integrate and coordinate with Program Execution Team, Finance, and Contracts to populate, inform, and update GDIT’s Salesforce System of Record for Opportunities Tracking

Utilize GDIT’s development lifecycle to assist Customers and Mission Partners in attaining Enterprise goals including opportunity identification and qualification.

Bring creativity to the customer engagement process to develop strong relationships and improve GDIT’s positioning and brand recognition.

Development and Execution of:

Organizational Goals

Road Maps

Relationship development

Integration of joint pursuits with teammates

Collaboration with other GDIT internal organizations

Short- and Long-Term strategic account and capture planning

Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to formulate and implement campaign plans while maintaining knowledge of customer requirements

Understand the competitive landscape to formulate winning strategies that highlight GDIT’s strengths and mitigate perceived weaknesses.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED – REQUIRED:

CITIZENSHIP: US Citizen

CLEARANCE: Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

EDUCATION: Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree

YEAR’S EXPERIENCE: 6 years’ experience Business development; additional experience may be able to substitute education requirements.

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Experience working with senior leaders, including C-Suite executives.

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Familiarity with online tools used by the Federal Government for solicitations.

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Expertise in the Federal Acquisition process to include use of SAM.gov and other contracting systems.

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Familiarity with Cloud Service Delivery models

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Demonstrated skills in all areas of Organizational Goal Planning, Opportunity Qualification, Customer Visits, Customer & Competitive Insight, Team Leadership, and Collaboration

TECHNICAL SKILLS: Skilled in the use of MS Teams, MS PowerPoint, MS SharePoint and Salesforce

SKILLS & ABILITIES: Excellent Customer Relationship management with DOD customers, including Joint and Enterprise customers.

SKILLS & ABILITIES: Developing business and cultivating relationships across a variety of defense agencies, ideally including Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) / Joint Service Provide (JSP)/ DOD CIO

SKILLS & ABILITIES: Ability to effectively engage current and prospective partners to build trust and relationships and foster their participation and sponsorship of program initiatives.

SKILLS & ABILITIES: Skilled in public speaking and giving presentations.

SKILLS & ABILITIES: Excellent writing skills with ability to develop and author formal deliverable documents.

SKILLS & ABILITIES: Strategic account planning, Capture management

LOCATION: Remote with 10% Travel to Falls Church and/or Chantilly, VA Locations

The likely salary range for this position is $120,000 – $180,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
