The Business Application Tech will work cooperatively with our associates, internal resources and vendors to resolve issues related to our business application software. By understanding, analyzing, prioritizing, and resolving incidents in a timely and professional manner: the Business Application Technician will contribute to the excellent customer service experience that employees and customers of CONAM are accustomed to receiving.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a Business Application Technician to join our team. (This position is Remote)
Candidates to be considered must reside in one of the following states: California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Georgia or Florida.
This position is Full-Time | Hourly | Full Benefits.
Pay Range: $26 – $28 / Hour
Duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Application Support
- Become an expert with our property management software systems to help resolveissues timely for our customers and team members.
- Partnering with all application vendors, including product ordering / cancellation, billing reconciliations and escalation of critical or stalled issues and roadmap alignment
- Document, track and monitor all incidents to ensure a timely resolution; test and verifyfixes to ensure resolution; generate knowledge articles for technicians and requestors
- Utilize service desk software to manage incidents and service requests
- Communicate effectively with all users with a focus on the end userreassessing/resolving issues as appropriate
- Manage user expectations through constant communication in a courteous andprofessional manner
- Provide timely feedback to internal customers on internal applications to reduce thenumber of incidents and ensure applications are being used correctly
- Testing of application upgrades and custom reports
- Creation of custom articles to provide tools for our associates to resolve their issueswithout needing to engage with IT
- Partnering with other teams within the department to look for efficiencies and processimprovement opportunities
- All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High school diploma or GED required, college education or equivalent certification path preferred
- Minimum (1) years’ of experience in a with a medium or large employer with centralizedsupport resources in a customer service position
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel spreadsheet generation and management
- Prior experience supporting residential property management software (Yardi and /or RealPage)
- Experience partnering with offshore resources to create one strong geographicallydiverse team
- Knowledge and understanding of affordable housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, HOME), certifications a plus
- Knowledge of basic accounting principals
- Experience working in an IT support environment including helpdesk or call center
- Comfort with flat files, FTPs and task scheduling
- Understanding of relational databases
- ITIL certification(s) a plus
- Effectively communicate (written and verbal) with individuals at all organizational levels
- Ability to gather, interpret information effectively and conduct research into a widerange of subjects as required
- Strong organization skills including prioritization of tasks and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments, under tight deadlines, often with
- competing priorities and complexities
- Function well in a team as well as a setting with limited supervision
- Robust problem-solving and logical analysis skills, as well as effective troubleshootingand diagnostic skills
- Strong interpersonal skills-including verbal, written communication skills and excellentlistening skills
