This position will be supporting the Amer Sports customers in Quebec, Canada. A successful candidate must speak and write French at a conversational level.
As a member of the After Sales Service & Warranty team, the After Sales Specialist will be responsible for assessing consumer and dealer warranty claims for all Amer Sports Winter & Outdoor brands. This will include physical and virtual inspection of products to determine the validity of warranty claims. This role will provide product knowledge to the larger Consumer Experience team and assist them in identifying solutions for dealers and consumers. This role has day-to-day responsibility for managing warranty claims and communicating outcomes with dealers and consumers via email and telephone. Individuals will be responsible for day-to-day duties in the service center, including cleaning, organizing, shipping, receiving, and assisting brand leaders with special projects within the service center.
What You’ll Do
Essential Duties & responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:
- Support the French-Canadian market and take ownership of the French language warranty queue
- Utilize Salesforce to manage communication with dealers and consumer support team regarding warranty claims
- Inspect product returns and make decisions, consistent with Amer Sports policy and procedure, regarding warranty coverage or denial
- Complete documentation of warranty assessment and provide feedback to the global HQ
- Create orders in SAP to credit or send replacement products to customers
- Support the larger customer experience team by responding to inquires via Salesforce, telephone, and email.
- Provide product and spare parts training to the customer experience team, including use of spare parts manual, binding certification and compatibility, and general product knowledge
- Manage inventoried spare parts, including monitoring inventory levels, working with logistics team to order additional parts.
- Manage non-inventoried spare parts, including labeling, bagging, and organizing spare parts for boots, bindings, and skis
- Perform day to day duties at the service center, including cleaning, organizing, shipping, and receiving
- Assisting brand and category leaders with various projects within the service center
What We’re Looking For
Required Education & Experience
- Ability to speak and write French at a conversational level.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 6 months related experience-ski shop work preferred not required
- Basic Mechanical and Repair skills
- Ability to become Salomon/Atomic/Armada Certified Binding Technician
- Ability to obtain Forklift Certification
- Computer Skills – MS Office (Excel & Outlook), Salesforce, SAP or other ERP
- Strong reading and logistical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient decision making and problem-solving skills
- Able to multitask and set priorities
- SAP and Salesforce knowledge preferred, but not required
- General Knowledge outdoor and ski industry preferred, but not required
