Description
Position Purpose:
This position will strategically supervise and lead Andrew Wommacks Watering Hole Restaurant at the AWM headquarters building, servicing the staff, VIPs, and public with excellence in all its operations.
Essential Duties:
- Oversee the restaurant, kitchen, and vending locations within Andrew Wommack Ministries HQ while ensuring all rules and regulations of food services are being met.
- Supervise the staff at the HQ restaurant, ensuring a high level of service and operational excellence.
- Create an atmosphere of hospitality, ensuring high-quality food and beverages are served, and that all team members represent the ministry with excellence.
- Work with the Charis Manager of Campus Services to create processes for ordering food, and maintaining inventory in conjunction with our campus commercial kitchen.
- Plan/create menus; estimate food costs and profits; adjust menus seasonally if needed.
- Control costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation; minimize waste; ensure high quality of preparation.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures.
- Administrative tasks include maintaining all credit card transactions, reporting financials to account, and invoicing for any internal catering and orders.
- Maintain and build relationships with outside vendors/purveyors
- Accomplish leaderships objectives by coaching, training, disciplining, and disciplining employees and volunteers; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and reviewing job contributions, while enforcing policies and procedures.
- Participate in weekly team meetings held by the Executive Director of Enterprise Chain and the Project Management Office
- Oversee and/or create schedules for the downline team
- Conduct team meetings and one on one meetings with the downline team
- Achieve the restaurants operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; determining system improvements; implementing change
- Any other projects or tasks assigned by the Campus Services Manager
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent people management, and good verbal and written communication skills.
- Planning, fostering teamwork, giving feedback, and customer service.
- Self-motivated, high-energy level, multi-tasking, resolving conflict.
- Ability to operate a cash drawer and handle money using a square POS system.
- Demonstrate leadership and vision by supervising staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
- Demonstrate performance in organizational strategic goal-setting and planning
- Deal with VIPs, guests, staff, and volunteers in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
- Excellent guest/customer service skills.
- Work well with others and deal effectively with all business contacts
- Able to exercise a high degree of judgment, and diplomacy, and an impeccable commitment to confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of food/beverage environment, food safety, and hygiene standards
Requirements:
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Must sign Statement of Faith
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
- Charis Bible College graduate is preferred.
- Must pass a background check.
Experience:
- Any of the following certifications are a plus: CP-FS, OSHA Safety, NAMA CCS, CFPP, PCA, AED, CPR
- Minimum of three (2) years of experience as a manager in the food service industry is required.
- Chef and/or catering experience preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in management or team leading experience.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience
