Audio-Visual Equipment Coordinator

We are looking for an Audio-Visual Coordinator to work with our Medical Schools. This is an entry-level position, and is largely administrative. The average salary will be in the $30,000s. This employee maintains an updated and reliable equipment loan service to faculty, staff, and students through the coordination of a loan system. You will be working on scheduling equipment, doing checkouts of resources, running inventories, and handling internal customers and their issues around audio-visual equipment. Repairs of A/V equipment are usually handled by our vendors, so there is no need to be an expert on this technology. You will be scheduling which equipment goes where, answering phones, and providing customer service.

This role is eligible for all UTHealth benefits including coverage under our healthcare plan as well as participation in a pension plan administered by the State of Texas. It will report to our McGovern Medical School campus, and will ideally work normal business hours during the week. It is not a remote position, and will require someone being on-site to work directly with the equipment and setting it up as needed.

What we do here changes the world. UTHealth Houston is Texas’ resource for healthcare education, innovation, scientific discovery, and excellence in patient care. That’s where you come in.

Once you join us you won’t want to leave. It’s because we reward our team for the excellent service they provide. Our total rewards package includes the benefits you’d expect from a top healthcare organization (benefits, insurance, etc.), plus:

  • 100% paid medical premiums for our full-time employees

  • The longer you stay, the more vacation you’ll accrue!
  • Longevity Pay (Monthly payments after two years of service)
  • Build your future with our awesome retirement/pension plan!
