Description
SAIC is looking for an Audio Designer to join our game development team at the Army Game Studio in Huntsville, AL.
As a Junior/Mid Level Audio Designer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the audio experiences within our games and applications. You will work closely with our development team to create, implement, and refine audio assets, ensuring our products offer users a captivating and immersive auditory experience.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of experience; four (4) years of experience are accepted in lieu of a degree.
Required Clearance:
- Must have an Interim Secret Clearance prior to employment; must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance to maintain employment.
Required Skills:
- Collaborate with the game development team to understand the audio requirements for each game project.
- Create and edit high-quality audio assets, including music, sound effects, voiceovers, and ambient soundscapes.
- Implement audio assets using industry-standard tools and game engines.
- Conduct quality control and testing of in-game audio to ensure optimal performance and immersion.
- Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related issues in collaboration with the development team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to game audio design.
- Assist in documenting audio processes and workflows for reference.
Target salary range: $75,001 – $100,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
