The Amazon Wireless Team seeks a talented, smart and entrepreneurial Vendor Manager to help lead the Wireless retail business. This person will be responsible for driving the top and bottom lines while partnering with our supply chain and marketing teams to improve customer experience and vendor operations.
As a Vendor Manager, you will have accountability for the business results for your product subcategories. Your direct responsibility will be to manage performance of the product portfolio including developing and growing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, expanding product selection and vendor base, setting prices, developing marketing programs, driving sales and margin improvements and creating best-in-class customer experiences.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 1+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience using analytical specific tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML
– Strong oral and written communication
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in process improvement
– Experience managing large amounts of data

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $103,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
