Associate Director, Marketing
Reporting to the Brand President of the Americas, you will be responsible for activating the brand in all of our points of sale across Americas in accordance with the brand communication and budget guidelines and in close collaboration with the retail department and external partners.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Marketing Strategy & Development:
- Lead and develop impactful long term marketing vision incl. event and desirability strategy, affinity partnership approach and “out of the box” concepts to drive Maison desirability
- Orchestrate Product launches across all POS (IB, EB & specialty) & full coordination with all relevant functions including Retail, Training and Partners
- Oversee Maison’s events & ensure Maison’s identity is well expressed & conveyed to the audience. Develop creative concepts to drive ROI and build awareness
- Manage and control A&P budget, in line with yearly budget & guidelines
- Ensure that planned ROI is achieved in each Maison initiative
Communication Strategy & Events:
- Further develop Maison’s awareness, desirability and visibility in the Americas
- Leverage and adapt locally HQ guidelines and messaging through media plan, PR and Events, and oversee its implementation.
- Set and roll out event strategy: Implement and execute event calendar for the brand including identifying and building key sponsorships and partnerships that meet Maison’s criteria and objectives driving sales and exposure to key audience
- Establish and build strong connections with various vendors, retailers, publishers, press, collectors, and key opinion leaders
- Monitor editorial performance & put in place action plans accordingly
- Build CRM initiatives including client exposure and in store experiences to drive and increase traffic in boutique
In partnership with the Commercial team develop a clienteling journey to achieve KPIs and objectives and deliver best in class experiences for our collectors
VM / Store Planning
- Develop and Implement all Visual Merchandising projects. Translate global visual merchandising programs into local activations across Retail and Wholesale channels. Ensure excellent presence across the network.
- Perfect and expand presence of partner locations and oversee the build-out, construction, and maintenance of future POS and Boutique locations. Supervise project Management with HQ and locally based Architects, contractors and other vendors as needed
Team Management:
- Manage and develop marketing and communication team members, in line with Maison’s values
- Build a strong collaboration network with other key stakeholders within the regional organization, HQ and other markets
- Ensure clear guidance, directions & objectives for each team member
- Challenge team to go “beyond the obvious”- be an agent for change and innovation; provide factual feedbacks on both skills and behavior in order to help each team member to develop in line with Maison’s high-expectations
YOUR PROFILE:
- You have a degree in marketing, communication or related fields and 7+years’ experience in relevant field, with 2+ years in a managerial role with reporting lines
- You have a true passion for Marketing, Operations and Events
- Organizing and planning is your second nature
- You easily make connections to other people and work cross functionally
- You are a creative problem-solver anticipating challenges and developing solutions
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset, be hands-on and can make things happen
- You are agile and adaptable in an ever-changing environment
- Knowing luxury codes and especially luxury retail is definitely a plus
- Fluent English oral and written skills, any other languages are a plus
- You are open to travel nationally and internationally, when required
Richemont offers a generous compensation and benefits package for eligible employees. Only candidates selected for further consideration will be contacted. Expected Salary Range: $140,000 to $160,000. Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience. This position is Bonus eligible.
