SALARY: $78,100 – $82,850 (based on 2023-2024 salary schedule), salary placement dependent upon experience and education; benefits (medical, dental, vison, WY retirement, life and LTD insurance)

REQUIREMENTS: WY School Principal Endorsement K-12 or 6-12, Experience with MS/HS Athletics (Masters in Education Administration)

CONTRACT: 205-day contract with personal and sick leave

ASSISTANT SECONDARY PRINCIPAL

Reports To: Superintendent
General Responsibility: Serves as educational leader, supervisor, appraiser, and interpreter of the educational program in the school assigned; is responsible for delegating responsibilities as needed to personnel and is responsible for the safety and welfare of those assigned to the school; ensures that learning occurs.
Status: Per administrative contract, work days and hours will be determined by the Superintendent.

Qualifications:
Duties Shall Include But Are Not Limited To:

  1. Plans, administers, and supervises the educational program.
  2. Responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing, using, and maintaining all students’ achievement performance data which are required by the District.
  3. Conducts all elementary personnel evaluations.
  4. Supervises all certified and classified personnel assigned to the elementary.
  5. Communicates directly and frequently with all staff members, parents/community stakeholders, 21st Century Community Learning Center, athletic department, drama department, and any other school affiliated activities or programs.
  6. Responsible for school correspondence, general correspondence, notices for general distribution to the school community, etc.
  7. Responsible for the implementation of directives from the Superintendent.
  8. Consults with and advises district staff on issues related to student achievement, and the effective management of the schools.
  9. Directs and assists in preparing all reports as required by the school district.
  10. Supervises completion and monitoring of all student records.
  11. Manages all discipline in the school per student handbook.
  12. Understands the implication of change efforts for stakeholders and adjusts leadership behavior accordingly.
  13. Accurately and proactively targets appropriate areas for school improvement efforts.
  14. Demonstrate the capability and collective efficacy to develop and use assets to accomplish goals that matter to all community members through agreed upon processes.
  15. Enforces the adherence of staff to all federal and state laws, policies, rules, and safety regulations.
  16. Responsible for establishing and maintaining community relations which include the use of the school facility.
  17. Cooperates with student groups in defining and achieving the overall objectives and effectiveness of the total school program.
  18. Coordinates and supervises extracurricular and co-curricular programs and other after school activities in the elementary.
  19. Maintains a complete inventory of all equipment and supplies in the building and completes all appropriate and required reports.
  20. Maintains regular attendance during school and during professional development days.
  21. Performs other duties as assigned.

  24. Engage in continuous professional growth
  25. Increase capacity of staff in his/her role within the district through training, guidance and progress monitoring

ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

Reports to: Superintendent
General Responsibility: To assist and support the School and Central Administration in providing a quality educational environment.
Payment Rate: Extra Duty Amount as determined by Board of Trustees.
Qualifications:

  • Holds a valid State of Wyoming Teaching Certificate
  • Meets all certification requirements including teaching area endorsement in the State Wyoming.

General Responsibilities

  1. Schedule athletic events for middle and high school
  2. Hire all officials.
  3. Represent district at state meetings.
  4. Keep track of all inventory.
  5. Recommend Activities Budget and review all purchasing requests.
  6. Provide Game Leave Time/Notices.
  7. Arrange Game Workers with follow up for timely payments.
  8. Activity Handbook Enforcement and Recommend Revisions.
  9. Conduct Coaching Interviews per district procedures and make recommendations to Superintendent for Board approval.
  10. Support of Drug Testing Policy.
  11. Establish and maintain a cycle for purchasing uniforms and equipment.
  12. Support and assist with all activities across the district.
  13. Recommend annual budget within district procedures and activity funding.
  14. Establish and maintain safety practices with school activities.
  15. Ensure process for volunteer requests is followed and accurate records maintained on file.
  16. Ensure eligibility for students participating in student activities.
  17. Monitor compliance with all state certification of staff for district activities as applicable.
  18. Ensure and document required trainings are conducted annually and as required by district, state and federal policy and law.
  19. Proper notification of Event Changes.
  20. Other duties as assigned.
