Whirlpool’s KitchenAid manufacturing plant in Greenville, OH is looking for Assembly Production Operators. If you enjoy working with your hands, using hand tools and building things to completion then this is the job for you! We make something special here. In this role you will build one of our premium products such as the world-class Stand Mixer, Blenders, Hand Mixers, KitchenAid Stand Mixer Attachments. Additionally, you will:
- Work on a moving/conveyor-style production line or stabilized workstation
- Assemble and install parts by hand or using tools/equipment.
- Crating and packaging of materials, parts, products etc.
The Product: We make KitchenAid countertop products including but not limited to:
- Stand mixers
- Hand mixers
- Blenders
- Attachments

$18.90 base pay per hour; Shift schedules fluctuate based on assigned department
1st Shift: Monday-Friday/6am-3pm
3rd Shift: Sunday – Friday/9pm-6:30am
3rd Shift premium: $1.50 per hour.
Your responsibilities will include
- Participate in training to learn how to follow standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Ensure the product is handled in a safe and quality-focused manner
- Safely use precision hand and portable power tools and machine shop equipment
- Continuously stand or walk (up to 10 hours per day)
- Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 35lbs frequently
- Work as part of an assembly line team or on individual production jobs from start to finish.
- Collaborate with a team on World Class Manufacturing methodology and projects
- Utilize SOPs to build assigned product(s)
- Support assembly teammates as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean working station
- Utilize internal systems to provide feedback on process improvements
Minimum requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 18 years old or older
- 6+ months of continuous employment experience
Preferred skills and experiences
- 6+ months of manufacturing experience
