Title: Applications Analyst

Duration: 6+ month Contract to Hire
Compensation: $38-$42/hour

Job Description
This position provides system level support to the Corporate Functions business partners including Asset Protection, Store Maintenance, Legal, Risk Management, and several others. This position is responsible for the design through implementation of projects relating to these systems. Additionally, level 3 production support is required. Communication with the various Business teams, keeping them up to date on project tasks, systems issues, etc. will be critical to the success of this role.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the support, design, some development, testing, and implementation of systems within the organization.
• Support Role: Manage a ticket queue containing all Corporate Functions system problems as it pertains to supported applications.
• Project Management: In many cases, this position will be required to be a small project manager and/or technical lead on projects impacting Corporate Functions systems.
• Design and Review: This position is responsible for designing and reviewing system documentation and making decisions on the most effective way to complete specified tasks.
• Business Relationships: This position will be responsible for keeping the core Business teams up-to-date on projects and other changes within their supported systems.
• Development Tasks: This position will require minimal software development experience to troubleshoot, modify, and interface with new applications.
• Third Party Application Support: Many systems within Corporate Functions are purchased packages and SaaS systems. Strong familiarity with the installation and support of third party systems is required.

Skills:
• Must be proficient in SQL query (Preferably SQL 2012+ Server)
• Windows command scripts and PowerShell
• Strong working knowledge of Windows Server 2000-2016
• 2+ years of Java, .NET, or C# development (or other similar language)
• Experience with Integration Layers/API (MuleSoft, BlueMix, Soap, REST, HTML) is a plus
• Working knowledge of Networks, Firewalls, and Windows Security capabilities to partner with those teams on solutions and troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge and interest in Cloud / Azure solutions. We are slowly moving our portfolio in this direction.
• Comfortable being the point person for the business team in day to day IT work.
• Experience with the Microsoft Suite including Access, Excel, and PowerBI is a plus.

Required Skills:
