Air Force Art Coordinator

The Air Force Art Coordinator for the Pentagon would be responsible for managing and coordinating all art-related activities and initiatives within the Pentagon, with a focus on promoting Air Force culture, history, and values through various artistic mediums. This role would involve engaging both military personnel and the public through artistic expressions that reflect the Air Force’s mission and ethos.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Air Force Art Coordinator: $80,000 – $90,000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Air Force Art Coordinator Responsibilities Include:

  • Walk to surveying spaces within the building, handing artwork, use ladder, t square leveling tool in Pentagon.
  • View Pentagon artwork with clients, accessing double door vault and meeting w/ Government/Military executives to show pieces.
  • Local to the DMV – Travel to local facilities JB Anacostia Bolling to pick up art and to other museums in the DMV area, must have a personal vehicle and driver’s license.
  • Art history research, call artists, created backgrounds on biographies and review donated pieces.
  • Meet with artists and create a biography and description of the piece.
  • Responsible for taking notes to share with team.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Air Force Art Coordinator Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Basic MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint) skills needed.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
