DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Lead and guide the work of technical staff on IT projects, serving as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Utilize experience in Agile domains, including lean, culture, collaboration, facilitation, professional coaching, process improvement, and delivering value, to set technology project direction and resolve internal and external technology challenges. Work with product owners to align goals of engineering team with IT project/product vision and business objectives. Monitor project progress and assess business implications at each project stage. Communicate organizational impediments to key stakeholders, and clear impediments for engineering teams. Embrace leading-edge technologies and methodologies to coordinate team-based continuous improvement activities that reduce waste and increase productivity. Drive cross-functional project tasks in Software Engineering, Business Analysis, and Quality Assurance as required to meet team commitments. Identify strategic opportunities to improve overall effectiveness of the engineering organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: This position requires 8 years of experience in the job offered or as Agility Lead, Scrum or Agile Coach/Lead, Agile Product Owner, Agile Team Member, Software Engineer/Developer, IT Consultant/Project Manager, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in any field of study plus 6 years of experience in the job offered or as Agility Lead, Scrum or Agile Coach/Lead, Agile Product Owner, Agile Team Member, Software Engineer/Developer, IT Consultant/Project Manager, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: at least one (1) Agile framework; Agile Coaching including applying Agile principles, practices, and theory; professional coaching approaches including ORSC Organizational Relationship Systemic Coaching; Lean Agile concepts; assessing Agile health and fluency of an organization; building and delivering interactive Agile training programs; identifying and using organizational metrics to support and guide continuous improvement; implementing OKRs; working with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale; documented Agile patterns and techniques such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, DevOps, story mapping, example mapping, transformation plans, operating models, or scaled Agile frameworks; international public speaking in the Agile Coaching space; and leading public groups in the Agile community. Must also possess the following certifications: Scrum Alliance – Certified ScrumMaster; Scrum Alliance – Certified Scrum Product Owner; Scrum Alliance – Certified Scrum Professional; and a Professional Coaching certification including one of the following: Scrum Alliance – Certified Team Coach (CTC) or other Agile Coaching certification, or International Coaching Federation – Professional Coaching Certification (ICF-PCC).
Job Location: 383 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10179. Telecommuting/remote permitted from any location in the U.S. up to 100% of the week.
Full-Time. Salary: $139,693 – $190,000 per year.
