An Aerospace Technical Drafting Co-Op job in Bellevue, WA is currently available at Belcan. Aerospace Technical Drafting Co-Op Job Duties may include:
• Conversion of CATIA V4 parts, assemblies, and installs into CATIA V5 per Customer modeling processes and requirements.
• Creation of respective drawings for parts and assemblies converted to CATIA V5 per Customer drafting processes and requirements.
• Identify modeling or drafting errors or discrepancies of the V4 datasets and bring to the attention of Customer Engineering for review and corrective action.
• Develops solutions to a wide range of technical problems which require ingenuity and innovation
• Works according to established guidelines and schedules
• Collaboration with client-integrated product teams
Qualifications:
• Must be recently graduated or currently enrolled in an accredited university or college; working toward a Technical Drafting degree with an emphasis on one of the following industries Aeronautical/Astronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical/Civil. Candidates with CAD certifications will be considered as well.
• Must be available for full-time Co-Op August through December 2023
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
Desired experiences and skills include:
• Experience with CATIA V5 is preferred though other 3D CAD Packages can be considered
• Proficiency with Microsoft office tools
• Effective oral and written collaborative engineering environment communication skills
Pay Rate: $24/hour
