What We Need YOU To Do:

The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency wants you to be our newest administrative professional inside District Operations at our Northwest District Office in Wood County.

In your new role you will provide secretarial assistance through routine administrative tasks. You will perform office file maintenance, including routine filing of agency documents, purging, scanning, electronic document ingestion and tracking, consolidating, and creating files for the active and archive filing systems.

You will also perform related administrative and clerical duties, such as typing complex reports and correspondence, answering the front desk phone, sorting and distributing mail, and working on special projects as requested.

As an administrative professional, you will assist the district’s public records liaison in responding to inquiries and requests for information, and obtain and copy records and information as requested.

Qualifications

  • 1 yr. trg. or 1 yr. exp. in secretarial science or business office applications.
  • For positions requiring technical terminology, applicants must also have 6 mos. trg. or 6 mos. exp. in relevant technical terminology.
