Overview
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual account roll forward schedules for various balance sheet accounts for Atlas Air. Provide detailed support for month end balances. Support collection efforts. Provide analytical support for departmental projects as required.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with outside auditors, Atlas accounting, finance and operational personnel regarding revenue accounting data.
- Prepare analysis to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- Interpret and summarize accounting impact on all long-term ACMI/CMI/Program charter agreements.
- Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly variance analyses to explain business dynamics that drive changes in Balance Sheet accounts.
- Drive timely collection of receivables by communicating with customers and Sales and Marketing team.
- Accurately and efficiently, prepare invoices, cash receipts applications, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, required
- 2-4 year’s work experience in accounts receivable / general accounting
- Airline experience a plus.
- JD Edwards software experience helpful.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills both oral and written.
- Airline experience a plus.
- Must have excellent PC skills (Excel, Word).
Special Demands:
Available to work extended hours as needed

Salary Range: $60,000 – $78,000
Financial offer within the stated range is contingent on the qualification of selected candidates
