The Role: Loan Platforms Business Analyst
The Team:S&P Global Loan Settlement is an electronic trade processing platform utilized to efficiently settle syndicated loan trades. Used by lenders, agent banks, custodians, trustees, borrowers and legal professionals, S&P Global Loan Settlement automates loan trade affirmation, confirmation and matching to facilitate the processing of loan trades.
One of the S&P Global Loan Settlement platforms, ClearPar, is the market leader in trade settlement. The newer S&P Global Loan Platforms site reduces settlement delays through access to real-time agent bank data from trading counterparties and integration with client systems.
The Impact:The Loans Platforms Business Analyst will be responsible for working closely across product, QA, operations, development, sales as well as customers to perform detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing. The ideal candidate will be a proven multitasker with strong analytical and communication skills and will have experience in business analysis for a fintech product/project.

Responsibilities:
• Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, technology, or similar discipline
• 3-4 years relevant business analyst work experience in the financial markets preferred
• Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Careful attention to detail
• An aptitude to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to build strong working relationships in a collaborative setting
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions. Comfortable presenting to and negotiating requirement details with customers
• Ability to articulate technology and product positioning to both a business and technical audience
• Ability to work independently
• Expertise in MS Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint
• Understanding of XML and relational databases/SQL a plus
• Any experience in the syndicated loans space is an advantage
• Be legally eligible to work in the country for which you apply
• Experience and familiarity with S&P products and data beneficial
• Experience working in a Bank or Asset manager as a product specialist is a plus
• Experience working at a solution vendor servicing FS clients is a plus

Compensation/Benefits Information
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000 – $110,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus/a sales commission plan.
