Court Services Support Operations positions encompass a diverse range of clerical and administrative tasks tailored to the unique needs of the Nevada Supreme Court. From entry-level roles to more advanced positions, our team members play a pivotal role in upholding the court’s commitment to seamless operation while adhering to established administrative policies and procedures.

Example of Duties
- Correspondence Management: Compose, edit, and format correspondence, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Data Entry and Typing: Accurate data entry and proficient typing and word processing skills to produce documents.
- Document Duplication and Distribution: Duplicate and distribute materials as required.
- Telephone Operations: Answer telephones, relay information, and maintain a courteous and helpful demeanor.
- Meeting Preparation: Prepare for meetings, including arranging logistics, and take minutes to document proceedings.
- Document Formatting: Format, edit, and produce complex materials such as brochures, newsletters, presentations, charts, graphs, and instructional materials using computer equipment and software.
- Database and Spreadsheet Management: Maintain complex databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
- Recordkeeping: Establish and maintain recordkeeping systems, considering confidentiality, information accessibility, and storage space constraints; release information in compliance with legal, regulatory, or agency requirements.
- Supply and Equipment Management: Order, receive, and manage office supplies, forms, and equipment according to established procedures; prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.
- Mail Handling: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail promptly and efficiently.
- Special Projects: Undertake special project work as assigned, adapting to various roles such as Customer Service Representative, Legal Assistant, and more, as needed.
Typical Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
