Job Summary:
Media Solutions is a team of designers, illustrators, photographers, and videographers working to help the health sciences faculty, staff, and students visually communicate their message and capture their story. As a fee-for-service unit within the School of Medicine and Public Health, our focus in on providing innovative solutions that support and enhance the research, instruction, and clinical goals of the school. Additionally, we support the broader campus community and community agencies by partnering with them on their creative projects.
As a team, our goals are simple: 1) deliver top-notch customer service to our new and returning clients, 2) create quality, meaningful work that meets our client’s project goals, and 3) participate in a collaborative team environment that promotes, creativity, flexibility, and productivity.
We are looking for a passionate, creative partner to join our team in designing and producing materials in collaboration with other content creators. This role will primarily concentrate on photography and videography with the opportunity to work on graphic design projects as well as other media. Your passion for photography and videography will be demonstrated in your portfolio and your verbal enthusiasm for your creative profession.

Responsibilities: Designs and develops multimedia solutions and materials in collaboration with other content creators, adhering to project timelines and developing and posting content for a specified unit in support of visually and contextually communicating messages aligned with unit strategy.
- 75% Conceptualizes, plans, designs, and executes multimedia solutions for a specific work unit that may be used through various platforms in collaboration with stakeholders and other content creation staff
- 10% Contributes to the development of communication, event, and marketing materials to fit into the overall strategy of the work unit
- 10% Tracks and manages timelines and deliverables related to communication projects
- 5% Directs operational activities for multiple communication platforms and posts content within a work unit that may include websites, social media, written/illustrative communications, and online tools

Qualifications:
Required:
-Multimedia production skills in photography and videography
-Expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite
-Proficient with Premiere or other video edit software
-Proficient with digital camera technology and Mac OS
-Robust portfolio of documentary, event, and/or portrait photography, and video reel
Preferred:
-Experience in graphic design or animation
-Experience with Canon DSLR and lenses
-Experience with photography and videography post-production processes
-Event photography / photo journalism experience
-On camera audio experience
-Production and post-production audio experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous projects in a detail-oriented environment and contribute to the success of the entire team

This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
