Summary

Serve as a contact point for information and perform clerical and administrative tasks in support of Child Thrive. Charged with project management of significant initiative components assigned by the Child Thrive Director and CPA Executive Leadership. One key component will be the recruitment, onboarding, training, and management of Child Thrive program volunteers. The role will assist in the implementation and execution of program recruitment, marketing, day to day operations, procurement, billing, and appropriate paperwork.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
• Responsible for administrative tasks related to record keeping and reporting.
• Prepare and maintain reports, correspondence, and statistical and financial data
• Maintain files and prepare daily, weekly & monthly reports in compliance with policy and procedure in a timely manner
• Maintains Child Thrive activities calendar
• Responsible for scheduling rooms/locations for Child Thrive and Children’s Place Association
• Provide front desk coverage, answer phone inquiries, collects fees and payments
• Responsible for the incoming and outgoing Child Thrive correspondence
• Coordinates the purchasing activities with Children’s Place Association A/P personnel
• Represents Child Thrive for operational activities with Children’s Place Association
• Participates in Children’s Place quality assurance initiatives as needed and appropriate to improve service quality and ensure compliance with licensing, accreditation, and contractual standards
• With support and direction from the Child Thrive Coordinator
• Responsible for the management of Child Thrive program components as assigned. Including but not limited to program marketing, recruitment, and community engagement

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Operations Manager will manage the responsibilities of the Child Thrive program volunteers.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, SKILLS, and/or EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a receptionist or in a related clerical role and a general knowledge of clerical procedures is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook required.
• Must be able to work with all levels of employees, clients, and visitors.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects with deadline achievement.

The employee must be able to use cleaning products to clean equipment and to wash and sanitize dishes. The employee must be able to read and write English at a level to fill out food orders, read catalogs and maintain temperature logs.
