The Role
As Technical Project Manager you will be on the frontlines of organizational and program development. You will support in early project assessment and approval pursuit, managing the process from initiation, and supporting through project closure. You will provide program teams with overall analysis from schedule, cost and risk perspective and provide an interface with external stakeholders in a demanding fast-paced environment including finance, estimation, engineering, workplace, facilities and the projects end users, ensuring consistent and reliable reporting across all functions.
Responsibilities
- Communication: Lead program communication and content with internal teams during early project planning, as well as sustaining program operations. Drive organizational wide process improvement
• Program Planning: Drive planning of overall programs, status reports including efficient summaries of risk and opportunities
• Change Management: Support project teams on change management & associated change reviews from a first principles perspective, supporting homologation of processes to streamline information flow and secure timely approvals from management.
• Risk Assessment: Work with key stakeholders to identify project risks early on and support those teams through the mitigation process
• Estimation: Support development of project funding requests and relevant benchmarking. Understand and communicate cost drivers and value justification with leadership
• Collaborate closely with Finance on overall process, approval flows and Financial efficiency
• Work closely with Engineering ensuring input requirements are properly challenged and that overall end user input deliverable timelines are adhered too.
• Generate project reports detailing status, risks, and opportunities and content templates
• Provide strategic input into the organization, setting programs up for scalable growth and success
• Provide the best product for your respective customer or end users, keeping projects and programs moving forward and fixing concerns as they arise
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related fields
• Master’s degree in any business, finance, economics or engineering a bonus
• 5+ years of experience on large commercial or industrial projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills using Microsoft Applications
• Proactive and able to foresee and mitigate risks appropriately
• Ability to train and mentor colleagues on best practices for project management and execution
• Willingness to get your hands dirty as needed to complete objectives and lead your times through challenging projects
• Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
• Have an inquisitive and open attitude to exploring innovative ideas and willingness to continuously learn
• Capacity to work long hours on demanding projects in high stress environments

- Expected Compensation
$88,000 – $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
