ODNR owns and manages state parks, state forests, state nature preserves and wildlife areas. We license all hunting, fishing and watercraft; oversee and permit all mineral extraction, monitor dam safety, manage water resources and serve as the second largest Law Enforcement presence in the State of Ohio.

What you will do…
- Serve as agency human resources manager & on behalf of agency
- Monitor all phases of hiring process & advises lower lower-level HCM staff on complex questions
- Consult with division/office management on workforce needs & participates in workforce planning for assigned area
- Act as a liaison between division and/or agency and general public, judges and other law enforcement (e.g., hearings, meetings, other law enforcement departments)
- Provide advice regarding civil service, collective bargaining agreements, employment law & human resources policies
- Update & review information in the Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS)
- Review and approve agency position descriptions and ePARs

Qualifications
Completion of undergraduate core program in human resources, business or public administration; 24 mos. exp. in human resources which included 12 mos. exp. in supervisory &/or management principles & techniques.
-Or 4 yrs. exp. in human resources.
-Or 12 mos. exp. as Human Capital Management Senior Analyst, 64613.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
