Desktop Support Analyst

WHAT WE SEEK

This position will be responsible for the procurement, inventory, and end user desktop support. The Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for new hire onboarding and offboarding. This position reports to the Senior Manager of IT and will report to Carnegie Learning Headquaters up to 2 days a week.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

  • Manage and maintain computer images, issuance of hardware, and staff training on installed software
  • Setup staff accounts for AD, Exchange, Google, and other systems as necessary
  • Troubleshoot end user issues with corporate business applications and hardware via phone and email
  • Regular weekly reports to management.
  • Onboard and offboard staff as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

WHAT SHOULD BE IN YOUR BACKPACK

  • Associates Degree in related technology field
  • Two (2) or more years of experience in desktop support position
  • Ability to respond to requests in a timely fashion.
  • Experience with installation/configuration of Windows and Mac OS X
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange and Google Workspace
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Excellent customer service demeanor and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks while maintaining appropriate attitude and composure
  • Desire to work as part of a highly productive team in a fast paced environment
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit; occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch; occasionally lifts and/or pushes up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception
