Overview
This is a Product Manager role for the PBNA IBP agenda that includes the Interim Forecasts, Inventory Control Tower and Command Centre for PBNA.
The Product manager is required to drive the program and partner with the PBNA S&T teams to drive the program delivery.
AS a passionate leader , the PM is expected to keep looking for new solutions for the business, truly enjoys working with a team, designing and delivering great products. The Product Manager will be responsible for having a deep knowledge of the industry so that they can create a mutli-year product vision and a rolling roadmap. The Product Manager is responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and accepting features and working with Product Owners and teams to ensure they are well understood.
As a result of rapid growth, the global nature of the business, and the history of multiple outsourcing arrangements, PepsiCo’s landscape needs to be more cohesive, with numerous duplications in data and tools and low process adherence. One of the critical expectations of this role is to be streamlined and drive large-scale change forward. This role will need to quickly understand the current landscape and develop the road map to achieve the desired future state.
Responsibilities
The Product Manager’s main priority is the Agile Release Train’s (ART’s) features and the following Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders; research industry trends; and understand changing customer expectations to create the (multi-year) Vision and (rolling-multi-PI) Roadmap
- Refine and force-rank prioritizes Features in the Program (or similar) Backlog prior to PI Planning (or similar)
- Accept Features when they are delivered
- Collaborate with Product Owners (and Teams) to decompose Features into Stories which the Teams will deliver
- Partner with Architects, Data Product Managers, and Data Engineers to prioritize key technical Enablers
- Works with Product Owners to ensure integrated System Demos are successful
- Work closely with the IT Lead to stay in line with business goals and ensure the features are properly described and prioritized
- Support integrated system demos and end user testing activities
- Represent business, both internal and external, managing the backlog and making sure that the team understands their needs & preferences
- Work closely with product owners and trust them and the teams to deliver
- Translates strategic directions into team goals and priorities
- Correctly identifies needs and requirements of external and internal stakeholders
- Delegates tasks to the team based on defined rules of cooperation and conduct
- Constantly develops new skills in the field of new ways of working and technology
- Create and maintain the Product multi-year vision and multi-program increment (quarter) roadmap
- Correctly identify and prioritize features based on the needs of internal and external stakeholders and based on the company’s strategic themes and customer, consumer, and industry trends
- Collaborate with Product Owners, IT Platform Managers, System Architects, and Teams to refine features to ensure they are desirable, viable, and sustainable and have clear, meaningful benefit hypothesis and acceptance criteria
- Ensure customer a customer focus in all aspects of the product
- Support the teams as they self-organize and create solutions based on the desired features
- Collaborate with teams on Program Increment (or similar medium-range) objectives Continuously verify
- Supports team’s autonomy while simultaneously taking care to provide business with high value solutions
- Continuously verifies stated assumptions and reacts adequately to unforeseen situations
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $ 106,300- $177,850.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications
Years of Experience
- Practical experience (over 8-10 years) working a job in complex institutions
- Good knowledge of business and technology and a deep, tactical way of thinking
- Practical knowledge and understanding of the software development process
- Good understanding of high-level software architecture in his or her area
- Experience in running large impact projects within the organization
- Practical knowledge of coaching tools in team management
- Ability to drive product roadmaps in alignment with the business strategy and industry trends / benchmarks
- Strong understanding of the industry tech and domain roadmap for benchmarking
TechSkills
- First level certification (POPM, CSPO, PSO) or comparable experience
- Deep knowledge of the business area of Intelligent Automation
- Demonstrated knowledge of the change management activities that are required following a release
- Knowledge of relevant technologies , experience in Digital Solutions and Intelligent Automation
- Ability to create and manage a prioritization system
- Ability to lead tech delivery teams to create a product roamdap
NonTechSkills
- Advanced certifications (SAFe Agile Product Manager strongly encouraged, ACSPO, PSU)
- Experience in running large impact projects within the organization
