Property Care Branch Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The Branch Manager is responsible for all aspects of a Property Care (Maintenance) branch by; managing and leading personnel/crews, equipment, properties, clients (as needed) while delivering profitable and high-quality work, operational efficiencies, and enhancing the Lifescape experience with our internal team and external clients.

How you will make an impact:

Branch Management & Leadership

  • Oversees, manages, and leads all members of team within branch including; 4-8 base services crews, 4-8 account managers, enhancement sales, plant health care, and snow management
  • Works, coordinates and communicates well with irrigation and enhancement department to service clients
  • Lead, manage, mentor, grow and discipline direct reports/branch teams, hold weekly one-on-ones, quarterly and annual reviews.
  • Strengthen and build long term relationships with key clients and support team with client meetings, conversations, feedback, problem solve issues when necessary
  • Forecast and establish annual budgets, sales goals, and other KPIs, to meet branch P&L goals
  • Work directly with COO to plan and execute current and future year strategy any current and future branch or divisional needs (i.e., equipment needs, structural changes, etc.)
  • Drive engagement of Lifescape culture by living and displaying Lifescape Core Values, policy & proceedures
  • Interview/hire, onboard/offboard new employees for branch team, relay staffing needs to HR team
  • Ensure existing accounts are renewed each year

Base Services, Enhancement, and Snow Services Production Management

  • Ensure production management team provides best practice landscape maintenance services to our clients, inspect properties to monitor performance and quality
  • Develop, enhance, or implement procedures that increase productivity and efficiency
  • Develop & maintain 52 week training and safety calendar with production team and assist with developing and leading trainings/meetings
  • Approve schedules, routing, performs site audits and upholds Lifescapes 4 Pillar standards
  • Approve and manage weekly time capture and hours management
  • Continuously evaluate and assign account managers and update route management as clients are on/off boarded
  • Coordinate with Director of Sales & Quality Assurance on new client onboarding, quality assurance, and on-going training needs
  • Manage branch snow management team and client needs
  • Manage and coordinate with Plant Heath Care technician
  • Aid Finance team with invoicing and AR needs- ensure timely and accurate

Account Managers (Garden Manager) Management

  • Mentor, train, and lead Garden Managers to provide best-in-class client experience
  • Review and manage sales pipeline weekly to maintain accuracy and an enhancement sales pipeline
  • Drive accountability with Garden Managers to meet or exceed annual enhancement sales goals
  • Assist Garden Managers in designing, accurately estimate enhancement proposals through Aspire
  • Address, manage, and coach Garden Managers through any performance or client issues
  • Work with Director of Sales & Quality Assurance on processing and providing feedback from new and existing clients

Interdepartmental Coordination

  • Coordinate with irrigation team to meet seasonal deadlines (activations and blowouts) for contracted services
  • Work with Irrigation Manager to develop and execute strategy and standards for properties
  • Ensure account managers are coordinating with the service team for irrigation, plant health care, lighting needs for maintenance clients

Your Experience:

  • 5+ years landscape experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture or related field (Preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license with approval from fleet insurance carrier (Required)
  • 3+ years’ experience in leading and managing a maintenance branch, division or region (High-End Residential experience preferred)
  • Fluent in user of Aspire (Preferred)
  • Proven experience in developing processes, procedures, and people to increase profitability, efficiencies, and employee and client engagement
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) (Preferred)
  • Previous experience working and leading with EOS structure (A plus)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Salary Range with Total Compensation: $128K – $156K per year – based on experience
