Senior Program Manager, Amazon Vendor Services

Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) is looking for a Senior Program Manager to own our Vendor Sales Pipeline and Recruitment processes. AVS provides Amazon’s most strategic vendors with premium Account Management support, in order to maximize growth and operational efficiency. The person in this role will be our single-threaded leader for new vendor recruitment processes – owning the vendor sales funnel, establishing target lists, and training Retail teams to effectively pitch the AVS program to vendors. They will be expected to develop, standardize, and automate processes to deliver efficiency across the AVS program, partnering with engineering, product management, operations, marketing, and category teams. They will also maintain our program rate card – making rate updates as needed and ensuring new enrollments are rate card compliant.

The ideal candidate for this role is an exceptional communicator who is able to build effective relationships across stakeholder teams. They are highly autonomous, with a proven track record of taking on end-to-end ownership and delivering results in a face-paced and dynamic business environment. They are an analytical problem solver with experience in process development and improvement. Experience with CRM and BI software is preferred.

Key job responsibilities

  • Establish sales targets and track progress towards annual enrollment goals
  • Develop, manage, and improve sales and onboarding processes
  • Collaborate with central Salesforce and BI team to measure sales and onboarding performance metrics
  • Manage capacity and allocation tools to ensure forecasts are accurate
  • Develop simple and scalable solutions to difficult sales operations problems
  • Drive process adoption with clear and concise communication to stakeholders both written and verbally
  • Lead trainings to equip teams to effectively pitch the AVS program

About the team

The AVS program provides strategic vendors with premium account management support, to improve operational efficiency and maximize growth. The AVS Central Program team supports the overall AVS program by leading projects to streamline processes, introduce net new vendor-facing initiatives, strengthen overall program infrastructure.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master’s degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Experience with CRM and BI software

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
