Sr. Corporate Finance & Strategy Manager

The Sr. Corporate Finance & Strategy Manager plays a critical role in leading the enterprise in cashflow forecasting, complex modeling, and reporting as well as ad hoc analysis on key business initiatives for Coinstar. This role couples excellent attention to detail with demonstrated problem-solving, strategic and analytical skills to ensure enterprise-level success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance & develop cashflow forecasting including operating and financing activity
    • Document inflows/outflows of cash and dynamically model each based on large data sets
    • Proactively work cross-functionally with the treasury & FP&A teams to ensure cashflow forecasts meet the needs of all stakeholders
  • Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting relating to debt compliance including management presentations, rating agency presentations, and other reporting as required
  • Evaluate new investments for key growth initiatives and technology investments in collaboration with key business partners.
    • Conduct return on investment analyses (DCF, IRR, etc.) to ensure appropriate alignment with corporate targets
  • Assist with the preparation of board of directors materials
  • Assist with financial analysis and deal negotiation strategies for retail and vendor contracts
  • Various ad hoc business analyses including research, presenting alternative strategies to current plans, and modeling impact of various business decisions.

Education & Experience

  • 7+ years of work experience principally focused on Finance, Strategy, or similar
  • Deep experience modeling complex business processes to drive insights and impactful financial outcomes
  • Experience in investment banking, management consulting, or private equity preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field required, MBA preferred (experience may substitute).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Mastery of Excel to both create complex financial models that enable decision-making related to critical business proposals and to mentor teams in best practices.
  • Strong understanding of data analysis and presentation tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Outstanding work ethic and ability to work independently.
  • Team player, able to work with various levels in the company, flexible, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, collaborate, present, and interact with executives.
  • Ability to multi-task projects and adjust the priorities of a team in an efficient manner.
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and a high level of innate intellectual curiosity guided by exceptional business instincts.

Location & Travel Expectations

  • Our corporate headquarters is in Bellevue, WA (Greater Seattle area) but hybrid or work from home arrangements are welcome. For this role, some in-person/office work is desirable.

Pay & Benefits

This role is located in Bellevue, WA (Greater Seattle area) and the full base salary range for this position is $126,120-$189,180. For this role, new hires generally start between $126,120-$157,650. Coinstar utilizes geographically based pay ranges, within the United States, which allows us to pay competitively and consistently based on location. Within the range for the applicable geographic area, individual pay is determined by several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share the salary range specific to your location. Short-Term and Long-Term bonus incentives are a part of the total compensation package and are based on Company and Individual performance.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
